Apparently, conservatives have gotten up in arms over how the Nuclear Summit logo supposedly looks like a Muslim flag. Which it doesn't. Below is Jon Stewart's segment on the issue- which is, by the way, absolutely hilarious. ^.^
The symbol does seem quite ambiguous so it could be either a Muslim crescent or a what the White House says it is. But, there is not a complete circle, nor a nucleus in the center to make it clear that it is a pic of the Bohr model. So it could be pictorally suggestive to be a sign of peace toward Muslims in the Middle East.
Tragedy- haha. I vote for Death Star. They're going to blow up our planet.
Teresa- Artistic license was taken, of course. A crescent moon doesn't even make sense. Furthermore, I was under the impression that the name of the summit served as the nucleus, which also carries an interesting symbolic message.
Frankly- I can get behind some conspiracy theories. But this one is taking it just a little too far. It's dumb.
I am an 18 year old libertarian, Texan, and constitutionalist. I spend most of my time writing novels and discussing issues with people online. Until such time as that changes and I get a life, you're probably going to be subjected to my thoughts.

Bohrs Model...
Sure. Everyone knows that is a crescent or semicircle...
Must be a secret code to the other conspirators. Maybe concealed within this seemingly simple design are their sinister plans for global domination?
Or the next Death Star.

Wait, peace toward Muslims in the Middle East is a bad thing?
