We did nothing.

Since the "Ron Paul Revolution", we have only progressed down the road of tyranny. Had he tried harder, perhaps it would have worked, but he didn't.

I was a strong supporter of Paul, and still am, but I was sorely disappointed in the fact that he didn't try to win.

We have let far too much carry on already, and it shall someday be said we did nothing.

Freedom was never won in an election. Ever.

Then what do you suggest? A forceful take over of the government?

Oh, for Heaven's sake! :)

We shouldn't resort to Congressional tactics, now!

The safest route is separation; dissolve the political bands, as it were.

LOL

I don't know- secession has its drawbacks as well...not to mention a bad track record.

I totally agree with Jefferson. But at the same time- secession isn't something to be taken lightly. If a certain number of states were to secede, we'd be talking about another civil war, where thousands, perhaps millions, would die. Those deaths would not be confined merely to the military.

And then of course there's the weaponry side of things- do you think we could muster enough weaponry to win a war against the US military?

I don't take subversion lightly.

A war with the U.S. military is out of the picture, as they'd be on our side; certainly the National Guard would be. The Oath Keepers have a major presence in our military.

Regardless, if God be for us, who can stand against us?

I wouldn't be so sure about the military being on our side. I'm sure many Chinese thought so too, but then the military turned against them as soon as the leaders said the word: the same with Nazi Germany. In this situation, it is best to take nothing for granted, IMO.

And don't you think it's a bit of a far stretch to definitely say that God is on our side? Who can say whose side God is on? Perhaps He's on no side.

I know, I know, I'm being difficult, LOL

Check out the Oath Keepers, if you haven't already; they have many "closet" members who will definitely gum up the works on any attempt to kill American citizens.

If God isn't on our side, we have nothing at all to lose.

And, yes, you are being difficult. :)

Sorry to interrupt...

Ron Paul? Interesting, although not surprising. Although I don't understand your comparison of our government to tyranny. If I may, it sounds ungrateful, if not exaggerating. But I do admire your faithfulness to the Constitution and its principles.
